Nail Technician and Hair Stylist:
Jodi is a licensed cosmetologist who specializes in both hair and nails. She began studying cosmetology while still in high school at Howards Caro Beauty Academy, then finished the program at Mott Community College: Transitions School of Cosmetology. Jodi became a licensed professional in March of 2009. Jodi earned her Bachelor's of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the University of Michigan - Flint and her MBA in Management, Strategy & Leadership at Michigan State University. She is also a Certified Master Pedicurist from the North American School of Podology. Jodi offers a variety of nail services, such as pedicures, manicures, shellac manicures and dip manicures. While doing hair, Jodi does color and highlighting services, haircuts and conditioning treatments to maintain the integrity of the hair. Spend the day with Jodi and you will leave the salon feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, while all your hair and nail needs have been satisfied with professional care.

I am a licensed cosmetologist with over 17 years of experience in the hair industry. I started studying cosmetology in 1999 while in high school at the Port Huron College of Cosmetology where I obtained my license in May of 2002. I moved to Genesee County in 2012 where I decided on Davison as my forever home. As of May of 2019, I decided to take the next big step in my career and start my own business, Designz by M&J, llc. I have had many years of of continued education to keep me current with the latest trends. I say, you can never learn enough! I specialize in men's haircutting, and offer many other services like women's cutting and styling, specialty colors, facial waxing, conditioning and clarifying treatments, and special occasion makeup and formal hairstyles (which I am willing to travel to location for). Taia graduated from Mott Community College Transitions School of Cosmetology in August 2023 and jumped right into the salon! She has a HUGE love for anything color and everything to do with blonding. Taia specializes in full head blonding services such as highlights and balayage.
Before Taia expanded her career into Cosmetology, she completed the Esthiology program at the Douglas J Aveda Institute in 2018. She's hoping to eventually offer both hair and skin care services once she has expanded her clientele to do so.
